HULLARMOR is another lanolin-based product that offers self-healing properties. Unlike our entry-level product, FluidFilm, which is known for its effective FluidFilm application, this coating is a bit thicker and drier while still remaining wet, allowing the coating to float and creep along the frame. This upgrade not only serves as a superior rust inhibitor but also provides greater longevity between touch-ups and is more resistant to wearing off. For most passenger vehicles, this option would be a $75.00 upgrade, making it a valuable choice among our undercoating services.
COSMOLINE
Cosmoline’s versatility and effectiveness make it a staple in mechanics’ shops, industrial applications, and even home maintenance. Whether you’re preventing damage or undoing the effects of weather and age, Cosmoline remains a reliable choice for rust inhibition. Its performance rivals that of FluidFilm application, making it an excellent option for various needs.
Cosmoline will provide you the longest period between needed touch-ups by as much as 2 or 3 years in most cases. While it does cost a bit more, it delivers the biggest bang for your buck in undercoating services and undercarriage protection.
